WHAT DO WE DO?
We implement equal treatment policies and programs in local governments, companies and NGOs. We promote a human rights approach at the local level. We help to plan activities in a way that each one of them can strengthen equality and implement rights of all people. We collaborate internationally and co-create national institutions and networks that are lead the implementation of human rights at the local level.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Equal treatment is an topic that affects not only people with disabilities. It’s a horizontal issue that accompanies us at different stages of life, different roles that we take and experiences we have.
Depending on our health, age, gender, identity, orientation and other factors, we may be treated unequally. We want to shift the focus from tailoring services to the needs of particular groups to designing them in a way that is accessible to the widest possible audience.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of people with many years of experience in supporting people from discriminated groups (based on origin, gender, psychosexual orientation, among others). We also worked with cities that were pioneers in implementing equal treatment policies (Gdansk, Warsaw).
We are active in the National Network of Women’s Councils, the Network of Plenipotentiaries for Equal Treatment and in the Committee for Equal Treatment Association of Polish Cities.
We want to share our experience with everyone,
who wants to implement equal treatment!
